In this talk, Steve will introduce you to dependency injection in ASP.NET Core which is a first-class citizen for modern web applications. You will learn how the built-in dependency injection library works internally, exploring the use of scopes to resolve services per request.
Steve will explain the internals of the resolution of services under the hood of the library, before showing you some more complex registration scenarios which will likely be needed in any sufficiently real-world application.
Finally, you will learn about extending the functionality of built-in dependency injection, using a library called Scrutor and how to replace the container with a more feature rich library such as Autofac.
