Submitted by Steve Collins

This talk is a deep dive into the world of Dependency Injection in .NET 6 and will take you beyond the basics and cover more complex topics such as

  • The changes to DI bootstrapping between .NET 5 and .NET 6
  • Understanding service lifetimes and what happens if used incorrectly
  • Avoiding unintended multiple registrations and their consequences
  • Registering and resolving open generics, classes with multiple interfaces; and interfaces with multiple class implementation
  • Key named registrations are not supported ... but I need it!
  • Classes, Interfaces and Functions - which do I register?
  • Thread safety and avoiding memory leaks
